LMHC #8023, MFT, RYT

It is my purpose to assist your teenager in reaching their goals and to navigate their life in a meaningful way.  On this journey, your teen will improve their overall self-esteem and daily functioning; as well as interpersonal, and communication skills.  Thus, as they grow, they take with them the tools they have  learned.  Empowered by their learning and ability to tap into the endless possibilities of self-discovery, they embrace who they are albeit not fearless but far more competent at negotiating challenges of being a teenager in an ever changing world.

common issues

Your teen needs to feel safe and to know that they can talk about anything going on in their lives in a confidential manner.  I make it a point to ensure to my clients that what they say in session stays in session with the exception of in jeopardy of hurting self or others.  I also tell them that I am a mandated reporter with the state of Massachusetts and need to report any alleged child/elderly abuse or neglect.  They feel reassured knowing that what they say won't be divulged to their parents.  When there are important issues, I encourage them to share with their caregivers, but only with their permission.  Sometimes, my clients will ask that I speak with you or invite you into a session.
